Miss out on the Tim Russ interview? You can still listen to it here:
http://freeradiosaic.org/shows/cartoons-on-the-radio/

Thanks to the support of everybody, we have generated enough money to renew the site!

Stay tuned for our Titan art contest and store!

2/25/2012

A very special thanks to Simon Mikalsen and Ashley Abalos for their donation. If what I'm reading is correct, we have generated enough money to renew the site. Any money generated from this point on will go towards opening our Titan store and mailing campaigns to CN.

Solomon voice actor Tim Russ is going to be interviewed on Thursday, March 1st at 10:30 pm eastern/7:30 Pacific at the following site:
Cartoons On The Radio – freeradiosaic

Tune in live to ask him questions about Titan and about his role on Star Trek.

The forums will be down to resolve issues we've been having with spam.

We are currently working on setting up a Titan store through the site. The store will include Titan merchandise with all original art work.

1/29/2012

We're coming along very nicely on our campaign to save this site! At this rate, we should hit our goal by next month! A very special thanks to Janeya Jones for her donation.

1/24/2012

Great news, everybody! The site is starting to generate some money! At our current rate, we will have enough to renew the page with hopefully some extra to launch a great mailing campaign towards CN!

Today's Titan fan art was created by Ashley Jean Abalos.

I just wanted to share this great piece of Titan art I found. Art is by Erin Locascio.

Here's a great interview with Tara Strong "Illana" from SacAnime 2012. A Titan fan asks her what we can do to further help the show as well as others.

To help keep our website running, we will be adding ads to the site.

We are currently waiting for the results of the latest Voteatoon in Latin America. Hopefully Titan was able to beat out Garfield. Great work for those who helped support Titan!

After over 10 years, Beavis and Butt-Head are back! It might have taken a long time, but it just goes to show that with time and enough fan support, shows can come back!

Sym-Bionic Titan producer Shareena Carlson has just announced to us that Titan won THREE Telly awards! The first went out to the crew for best TV program, the second went out to Genndy himself for best use of animation, and the third went to Scott Wills for best art direction! Go Team Titan!!

The second mailing campaign is going to take place on Friday, July 1st. We will have more details in regards to the event when the time comes closer to the date.

Keep up the great work, everybody!!

6/23/2011

Last night's interview with Kevin was AMAZING! Needless to say, there were a lot of VERY happy fan girls. The best word of advice he gave us is to keep working together to get through to CN. Another mailing day is in the works and a specific date will be announced very soon. He also told us to continue being civil and to not spam or use profanity in our efforts. We want to be taken seriously. If you missed out on the interview, the recording will be up by this Saturday. Until then, keep up the great work, everybody!

Cartoon Network submitted the episode Lesson in Love for an Emmy. It is up against some pretty big contenders, but let's keep our fingers crossed for Titan. The more recognition the show gets, the more leverage we'll have in our efforts.

The Sym-Bionic Titan page on CartoonNetwork.com has been redesigned, but it's not like the other redesigned show pages. The Sym-Bionic Titan show page does not have a homepage, a videos page, or a characters page linked to it like other pages do. It just has a game page and a fan talk page. The only other two show pages that are like this are The Secret Saturdays page and My Gym Partner's a Monkey page. This proves to us that we need to show Cartoon Network that Sym-Bionic Titan is awesome, and we need to try harder to get their attention. However, please don't give up hope because of this. I know that one day we will succeed!

6/10/2011

We now have a guild on Neopets!

The script for the RP project is picking up steam again and making good head way. Targeted goal for the RP project will be on Saturday, June 25th. Estimate that it will take about 2 hours at the longest to complete. Another rehearsal will be schedualed before.

6/4/2011

Congrats to our Facebook page for reaching over 4400!

We are now on Twitter! Follow us at: www.twitter.com/savetitan

A new chat section has been added! Chat with others who are online about the show we all love and are fighting for! Check it out!

A donation page has been added. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated and used to help further our campaign.

6/2/2011

Great job to those who mailed Cartoon Network in our first group mailing campaign. Hopefully we can make this a monthly event until somebody at the network realizes that we're serious. The focus will now shift to the RP script and trying to contact somebody from the network or show that can give us full details as to why a show with good ratings couldn't secure a toy line. Remember to keep spreading the word about our cause!

5/30/2011

For those who need the extra bit of help, here's a sample letter that you can copy and paste to mail out tomorrow:

To Whom it may concern:
I wish that this message would come with better terms; however, the recent news about the cancellation of Sym-Bionic Titan has made me lose faith with your network. I am a long time viewer of your network and over the past few years, I have seen a rapid decay of good programming coming from your station. Genndy Tartakovsky is an amazing artist and story teller and his very talents have won several awards over the years. To hear that his amazing work is being shut down over a "lack of toy merchandising" is an utter mistake made by your network. How such visually stunning work can be shut down so fast while programs that AREN'T even cartoons continue to thrive is appalling and completely contradictory to the very name of your station. There are thousands of loyal viewers who are enraged over the network's decisions and we have begun to speak out. This IS viral: two petitions have been written, a Facebook page has been created, people are Tweeting. If Cartoon Network doesn't want to make toys about a show with giant fighting robots fighting giant fighting monsters, take it out on the executives who made that poor decision, not the fans. We fans cannot spend money on merchandise that isn't there. I am but one person and I know that this message will be more or less disregarded, but just be aware that more and more people will speak up about this. My only wish is that somebody on the other side will listen to the fans and apply it.
Thanks for your time
Feel free to mail more than one letter. The more the better! Please address the letter to:

ATTN: STUART SNYDER
1050 Techwood Drive, NW
Atlanta, Georgia 30318–5264

If you want to put your return address, do so at your own discretion.

For those in doubt about a fan's ability to revive a cancelled show, here's a picture of what the Jericho folks did:

This is the kind of dedication that we need to send a message to CN. Jericho fans mailed a total of 20 tons worth of peanuts to CBS HQ. Their message was heard and their victory was secured. Quoting Ilana, "We can do this if we all work together!"

We have recieved Tara's blessings with the site! Her comment was short and sweet:

"AWESOME!!!!! I hope we all prevail!!!"

For those who are having doubts about the campaign, remember that the cast is counting on us to get through to CN.

5/25/2011

Please be patient. The site will be fully up and running within the next couple of days.

The kick off of our first monthly group mailing session has been moved to May 31st. For those who want to participate, all of us in the Save Titan community are urged to mail Cartoon Network on this date. Mailing campaigns are very effective if done all at once. Feel free to mail letters, fan art, and most important of all, a purple shirt. Don't be shy, either; mail more than one item if possible. With enough people contributing and enough persistence, we'll be able to make a difference.

Updated RP scripts will be available on Friday, May 27th. Please visit our RP Facebook page for more information.

Congrats to our Facebook page reaching 4300 yesterday! We're averaging about 100 people a week. Keep informing your friends and family about our cause and keep our numbers growing!
